Seoul Bootcamp Nov `08 part 1

[Caspian]

First of all,I want to say that,even now,4 days after the end of the bootcamp,I’m still in shock at what I’m now capable of doing,compared to what I was a week ago.Bootcamp is a good term for what I went through,as the stress levels are comparable to the real bootcamp I went through several years ago when I joined the air force.

 

If you haven’t gone through a PickUpAsia BC yet,all I can say is: What the f@ck are you waiting for? It’s truly an eye opening experience, one in which you will learn alot,and change in ways you can’t even imagine happening in the course of a weekend.

RedpoleQ is an awesome instructor,with a wealth of knowledge about the minds of Asian women,and BlueMystery and the others were a great help this weekend.Now on to the bread and butter of this field report.

 

First,as a note,if I put anything in Italics, it denotes my thoughts at the time;also,I’ll only list the sets that really burned themselves in my mind,as I opened way too many sets this weekend to remember them all.

 

The BC started Friday night,with all of us meeting in front of the Hard Rock in Itaewon in Seoul.From there we went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner,and to start the magic.

 

In Outback,while we waited for and ate our food, RedpoleQ asked us questions about our life,how we got into Game,etc. He also asked us about the kind of women we are attracted to,as it would help him pick out sets for us to approach.

The four that would be taking the BC would be myself,Ocean (formerly Numinous),The Piece and Security (formerly Seoulver).I was glad with this,as everyone seemed like good,cool guys.Together,they would be my BC brothers and we’d each watch each other transform over the weekend.

 

After the Q&A session,RedpoleQ started in on theory,and what we would need to know for the night ahead of us.

The first bit of theory would be Survival and Replication(S&R) value,and how women look at a guy more for survival value, whereas a man looks more for replication value in a woman.

Next,we learned the 3 things that women subconciously look for in a man relating to a high survival value:Leader of Men,Portector of Loved Ones,and Preselected by Women.

Wow,this is cool.it’s one thing to read it,but to hear someone actually explain it in person causes this to make so much more sense

Next,we went into how women want,no, love to be taken on an emotional rollercoaster, and how to use emotions to spike their Buying Temperature (BT),no matter what the emotion it brings about.

After BT, RedpoleQ went into Qualification.We learned how to qualify women during the sarge,how to look for things we want in a woman,or to disqualify them for not being what we’re looking for.Of note,we also learned a bit about force framing a girl into the things we’re looking for,even if she’s normally not into them.

Ok,now this is cool;actually bringing out what I want in a girl.

Finally, RedpoleQ taught us about Kino,or touching a girl.We learned how to escalate or de-escalate the Kino depending on the target’s reaction.One thing that was mentioned,and I would constantly need to be reminded throughout the BC,is that you must constantly be escalating the Kino,or else the sarge will be lost.

 

After the lesson on theory,RedpoleQ laid out some rules.First,no alcohol for the duration of the bootcamp. NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Second,when the instructors or apporach coaches say it's time to eject,eject immediately.Also,no number closes the first night. No number closes?I'm worried about simply having the courage to open,let alone get phone numbers.

RedpoleQ also gave us our goals for tonight: Apporach and open,build attraction,qualification,and kino excalation.

 

Before getting in the cab to head to the venue,we all came up with “Accomplishment intros" for ourselves,to be used by our wingmen throughout the bootcamp.I’m a tapdancer,Ocean is an awesome bass guitarist for a rock band,The Piece is a photographer,and Security is following his life long dream in Korea.After that,we got in our taxis and head to the venue.

 

The venue for tonight would be Circle,based on RedpoleQ's assessment of the type of women we the trainees all found attractive (sorry BlueM,maybe JJs next time).I was excited for this,as I had always heard great things about circle (like really hot,money chicks),and had only been there the first time the night before.

After going in,but before entering the venue proper,RepoleQ pulled us aside to go over Locking In,and how important it is to the sarge;he also taught us the "spin move." Did this guy really just spin my like I was a chick? I was excited to learn the spin move,as I had seen it used only once before,and was excited to try it out and see if it would would work.

Once we entered the club,RedpoleQ told us to smile as he took us around the club in "the walkthrough." The walkthrough was done to explain to us the logistics of the club,such as where VIP is,good lock in spots,restroom location, and to see where the hot girls are in the club.With the walkthrough completed,it was time to open the first set...

 

OK my pickup brothers,here's the part I'm sure most of you have been waiting for;the sets.We stood about halfway between the dancefloor and the bar.

RedpoleQ:Ok,time to open the first set

Oh man,the nervous excitement is killing me

RedpoleQ:There's a 2 set at the bar, the one sitting looks in kind of a dumpy mood,the other looks happy.Who wants them?

Damn it,too nervous.I better just get it over with

Caspian:I'll do it

So I stride over and open by asking what time the club starts getting busy,then move into a BT spike.The energetic girl is about a 9,the moody girl about an 8.Turns out the guy next to the 9 is her boyfriend.I bring in my wing Ocean.For some reason, I handed off the 9 to Ocean.We stayed in until RedpoleQ told us we could eject.

 

One of the most memorable sets of the night was opened by The Piece;a great looking 2 set sitting in a booth by the bar. I was brought in to run obstacle game on the girl I'll simply call HBWOW.Yes,she was that hot.

I certainly don't mind running game in this obstacle

The Piece AI'd me,and I sat down next to HBWOW,who immediately offers me a shot of tequila

Oh man,I'm not supposed to drink tonight. I drank it.Couldn't be rude. This girl's BT was all over the place.One minute she'd be curled up under my arm with her head on my shoulder,the next she'd be standing up looking around.Definitely a challenge.At one point I subconsciously was moving to the music,which HBWOW noticed.

HBWOW:Wanna dance? and then she gets up and starts dancing with me.I put my hat on her head,which she liked,looking at herself in the mirror,and dancing and grinding on me as I tried to keep up with my sub-par dance skills.after about 15-20 minutes,we eject. I was starting to see the light,and what I could accomplish.

 

My second favorite set of the night was a 2 set sitting on the white couches/bench against the wall.I opened HPBrain while The Piece covered me,running obstacle game on her friend HBTurquoise.

This chick was cool,and super smart,working on her Phd.Finally,I get a chick who speaks English well.

I ran the BS palm read,qualified her really well.She'd traveled to 4 different countries,including the U.S. and Japan.She loves to read,and spends most of her time studying.Definitely the best sarge I ran all night.She brought up her boyfriend in Seattle,I changed the subject.I asked about a ring she was wearing,she said it's an engagement ring;I call her out that it's on the wrong hand,change the subject.Damn,this chick is great,why can't they all be this cool.

 

two other memorable sets was a 2 set of cuties who had been dancing non stop.When I opened with

Caspian:Do you know Pae Yoon Joo?

HBDance:Yes

Caspian: *shocked*

HBDance: I think you are here to meet some girls?

Caspian:I'm a social person.I meet lots of people

HBDance:bla bla bla,I just want to dance.

I ejected because a security guy came over and was talking to her friend,so I didn't want to risk the trouble.

 

the other set was a 2 set on the dance floor.I can't remember who opened them,then I came in.The one HB wasn't keen at all,and the girl I was talking too didn't seem keen,but her body language was telling a diferent story,as she responded to kino and even placed my hand on her hip/upper thigh.The other HB pulled them away.

 

By the time we left the club,I was dead tired.collectively,the four of us had opened 90% of the sets there that night.

But a strange thing happened.After we walked outside,I got this second wind of energy,and I realized what it was.Amazement. Amazement at myself,and how much I had already started to change.I couldn't believe it.My AA was still there,but I had ignored it all night.I had talked to the hottest,most $$$ girls I had ever talked to since coming to Korea,and possibly my entire life.and the Bootcamp was just getting started
