Seoul Approach Mastery Bootcamp March 2010 Intro After 2 years in Korea, I decided I needed to get this area of my life handled so I went for it. Up until the boot camp I had had some slight success with Korean girls, but I knew I needed to be better then where I was at. It has been a month since my bc, and it has really changed my perspective on all things in general. Day 1 JJ's Night Game We meet up at the Bungalow in Itaewon. Its me, Quantamleap(QL),Crazy Horse(CH), Further, and of course RPQ, We go over attraction, qualification, and bt spikes. After about 3 hours, we head up to JJ's, and its game on. I get blown out by some sets, but I hook a lot too. I'd like to call the first set mind fuck. We go in expecting these girls to be Korean, but it turns out they' re Russian, and they're pretty happy to talk to us. I don't remember my opener, but the conversation probably lasted for about fifteen minutes. My girl is pretty keen on me, and the conversation is going really well. RPQ comes in and puts my hand on her lower back, and she's totally cool with it. I would have never expected that before the boot camp. First set of the night done, and it's pretty successful. I start more approaches, but I am having problems engaging two sets, and not addressing both girls. I later realize it's because I don't kino both of them, and I am also paying attention to only one of them. I get blown out by a couple of two sets before I meet HB 8 Taiwan, and I happen to be wearing a shirt that says I love Taiwan in Chinese. As you have probably figured out, this was my best set at JJ's. I open this Chinese girl in the lobby of the hotel, but her Korean friend is not having any of it, probably due to my lack of not properly engaging her. After this Chinese set, we all bounce. We take a cab down to the KFC on the main road of Itaewon by the subway stop, and on the way down RPQ is addressing my inability to keep both girls engaged. Figuring this out, paid off later in the BC. We try to find another venue, but can not find a good place for gaming, so we end up on the main street of Itaewon where QL opens a two set standing outside by themselves of some bar or club. I don't know which one. He goes in and seems to be doing pretty well, and then ejects for some reason I can't remember. RPQ forces him back into the set, and I later come in as a wing. Thanks to RPQ's advice, we were able to bounce this set. I was with HB Korean 8, and QL was with HB Mongolian. We bounce them to some small little bar, and are with them for about half an hour before RPQ finds us and we have to eject. We head to the Tom n Toms in Itaewon for a debriefing. At the debriefing I make my realizations. I wasn't good at engaging group sets, I need to talk louder, I need to use more facial expressions, and I need to be more animated. We all go over 5 things that we realize, five things we did well, and five things we will improve at every debriefing. I'll call them the three fives. I will start doing these things later, and they will really help. I get back on the subway, and make my long journey back to Bundang, and realize that I still have a lot to work on. However, I am starting to feel a little different. Day 2 Coex Daygame We meet up at Coex in Gangnam to go over opening, atraction, and qualfication. Vision, and I believe Vigorous also show up to do some BC shadowing. Crazy Horse has lost his voice, and he will be without it for the rest of the BC. The first set that Quantam Leap and I open is sitting down, and it goes pretty well, but I eject for some odd reason, and then start up with some other sets. I actually remember almost tripping one by accident so I wasn't able to open. Man that wasn't cool. RPQ is taking my hands out of my pocket every now and then, and that was great, because before I probably wouldn't have realized I was doing it. QL opens the next set thats shopping for shoes. We'll call them HB 9.5 and HB 8. This is the set where I freeze, and don't do that well. I'm in my head, and I freeze. I just don't know what to say, and I am standing there like a robot. RPQ comes in and yells at me for freezing, and tells me to come up with an idea of my own if I think it's not going well. After this, I go and open some more. I think it was two sets after my discussion with RPQ that I opened the bookstore rebound set. I had previously opened up a 3 set, and brought in QL as a wing. It went pretty well, but I didn't time bridge properly, and then it was over. I go and open a 2 set and ask where the bookstore is. I am able to engage them both, an adjustment I had made from earlier, and then bring in my wing. I am hitting it off with this girl, who I'd like to call HB 8, and using as much Korean as I can, cause her English is limited. After about ten minutes, I see her look at her friend like she's about to leave,and immediately bt spike her by making a funny face, and making fun of her for waving her fingers at her friend. I then get her number, and call her right there, and do the funny phone conversation for 15 seconds. By doing this, I turn things around, and I am able to bounce her to the bookstore. We end up reading some weird history book together,and I am just trying to be playful the whole time. I tb her and then head back to the food court for a debriefing. I now realize how easy it is to change the momentum of a set by bt spiking, and that being more animated definitely helps. I was feeling pretty good after the bookstore set, and was happy realizing how easy it is to get out of your head. Just be playful. I head back to my motel in Gangnam to get some rest before we head off to Mass for the night. We meet up at the Tom n Tom's in Gangnam where I had originally met RPQ for my one hour consultation. I am half way throughout the boot camp, and I feel like a completely different person then the one I was the last time I was here. We cover Body Language, making things sexual, and of course Strawberry Fields. Vigorous was at Tom n Toms for a recap, and I believe it was Padalin, who showed up as well. Mass Nightgame We head off to Club Mass, and Padalin goes with us too.The place was packed with hot women everywhere. I don't remember how many approaches I did, but I did a lot better than I thought I did. RPQ would later tell me this. I remember getting blown out by a couple of sets so I will talk about those firsts, and then the good ones that hooked. The reason I wasn't able to hook some of them is because I was making some rookie mistakes, like not engaging both girls again. I do remember this one set that I opened and got blown out of that RPQ made me reopen. Crazyhorse had opened them and had hooked them with the mime game he was running since he had no voice to work with. I reengaged them, but they were having none of it. There were also these two girls sitting down that were having none of me either. As for all the sets that hooked, there were a lot more of them. RPQ was right. I was doing better than I had thought at the time. I even had a girl open me at the club. There was hb crazy dancing machine which was the last set of the club, which Further had initially opened, a 3 set which I had opened, and done pretty well with until I started watching RPQ, I won't watch my wings again, and a couple of 2 sets. The ultimate set of the night, which RPQ would later tell me that he thought I had no chance with, I would like to call HB 1OOO. I just went in not expecting anything because I was just having fun, and not being stuck in my head. I remember she was sitting down in the corner by herself in a pink coat. I hear RPQ yell go, and I walk right up to her. I think I used, "What time does the place close?", as an opener. I end up talking to this girl that literally was an HB 1000 for almost half an hour, and I'm doing pretty well bting her and getting her to laugh a lot. I was not able to close her, because I did not tb her properly. I waited too long to get her number. I would find her later, and then she would tell me that she had a boyfriend. Maybe I did not plow enough, but it definitely showed me what I am capable of. I remember RPQ asking me if I had ever talked to a girl that good looking for that long before, and a girl that hot, I had not. We then head to Burger King for a debriefing to cover the three fives. I realize I am a lot better than I think, and I need to get out my head, and stop having negative thoughts. Hell, I mean HB 1000 was fun, and in my view better looking girls are friendlier towards me. Sweet! I stay a little after the debriefing at Burger King to have RPQ give me advice on getting rid of my negativity, and he is real helpful. Even as I type this I feel different. As I am walking back to the subway, I see this girl HB8 saying funny things in Korean. She looks over at me and opens me. Turns out she is from Jeonju, the first city I had lived in in Korea, and she number closes me saying I should call her so that when I visit Jeonju she can make me some mean Jeonju Bibimbap. The second day of the boot camp is finished, and I am exhausted. I head back to my motel to get some rest. Day 3 MyeongDong Daygame I wake up at my hotel, and hop on subway line # 3 ( orange) towards Myeongdong. I look up at the subway tv and notice something very familiar. Hey isn't that HB 1000?!! No way!! I was just talking to her last night at Mass. I am pretty damn sure it was her. We meet up at Starbucks inside a shopping mall of Myeongdong. I look around and see some girls I like. I probably would have been too in my head before. We cover future projection, deep comfort, and then make up our own hero stories. Then I go off on my own and start approaching sets. I tried the cat socks opener on a set and got blown out, but then went and opened what I"ll call an hb unicef two set. I remember these girls wearing red tshirts, and just talking to them about random nonsense. There was a Korean guy standing and looking at me, but by this point I didn't care. Before I would have paid way too much attention to him. He later comes in and starts talking to me, and he is actually not that bad of a guy. I run more sets around the mall, and then we head back to the Starbucks. We leave and head to Dunkin Donuts, and I think we did a debriefing there, but its been a while since I have written about my bc, and I can't exactly remember. I do remember we were in DD and I kept looking at this one girl eating an ice cream cone, and man that girl looked like she knew how to give head. We then head to a Samgyupsal restaurant, which I believe RPQ goes to after every Seoul boot camp. I don't know the name. There we choose our pick up names, and get welcomed into the PickupAsia community. After the bc, I had two J girls open me while I was waiting for the subway. They could not speak any Korean, very little English, and I knew l about 5 words of Japanese. I email closed them since they were leaving the next day, and headed home. I realized that these J girls were sensing a vibe from me, and it definitely came from the BC. I want to thank RPQ for pushing me into sets when I was hesitant, showing me how to have a different outlook on women, and taking the time to run the boot camp.
