((SAIKO)) Posted May 19, 2008 Share Posted May 19, 2008 Gentlemen, As a first post, I thought I would share the text messages I wrote during last week’s Boot Camp. Taken together, it’s a mini-blog of my experience, written in real-time, while traveling to and fro each day’s event. They were sent to my good friend in the States (the guy who introduced me to The Game). One of his responses is included. ======================== Pre-DAY 1 State: Anxious but positive. Today is the first day of the rest of my life. ======================== Post-DAY 1 State: Exhausted. Pushed hard. Out til 5:30 a.m. Results: Full gamut – from humiliating blow-outs to mind-blowing success. Roller coaster of emotions & experiences, leaving u wiser, stronger, more determined. I think I’ve found my new drug. ======================== Pre-DAY 2 State: Somewhat excited. Willing 2 accept the Crash-n-Burns as part of the learning process. Learning Day Game today b4 going back 2 the Killing Fields of bars/clubs. ======================== Post-DAY 2 State: Completely wiped. Mildly depressed. Emotionally fragile. Results: Day Game was BRUTAL. Nite Game @ real J-club [Alife] (not necessarily a gaijin-friendly bar [like Muse]) was worse. Sucked so bad. Should focus on the positive (3 numbers from decent girls in great sets)…but I still feel like crawling into a little ball on the floor. ======================== FRIEND’S BITCH-SLAP REPLY: Hey c’mon, it’s a boot camp. They are suppose to break you down and build you back up… These sets toughen you up so you can make approaches on HB’s without fear. So suck it up, [saiko]. It’s all for the greater good. Look forward to hearing more details. ======================== Pre-DAY 3 State: Determined. That which does not kill me only makes me stronger. ======================== Post-DAY 3 State: Emotional.
