This was good, but better than, "so we can keep talking" you should say, "so you can hang out with me." It's a subtle shift, but this implies that she's missing out by not being able to spend more time with you while the other one implies it's mutual.

This is really good seeding. Follow it up by suggesting a particular day to meet at least. Like you could have said, "what are you doing tomorrow or y day? I'll take you to that Mexican place I was talking about."

Hahahaha...I KNOW that feeling! It happens, for sure. It's all a part of the game. I probably would have told her that it's nice to see some tan skin because in Korea, everyone looks like ghosts!

Great review. I also liked this book a lot, but some people who weren't familiar with his stuff, didn't enjoy the book and felt that the stories were annoying and didn't help support his rules.
I thought it was great though...basically an applied version of Maps of Meaning.

Pre-Suasion (not a type-o)I recommended Nudge because it provides the most obvious, straight forward applications while these other books muddy the waters a lot more and sow the degree of complexity a lot more.

I like your criticisms. I haven't read Maps of Meaning, but it is on my list. I'd be keen to see how the book differs from the lecture. He adds in new material regularly, so I imagine that the lectures are more interesting.
I think that you missed one key aspect of what he teaches though and maybe that's because it wasn't emphasized in the book or maybe that's because of what you just didn't think was very important. One of the best insights as far as I'm concerned is how our actions are aims nested within larger aims, nested within larger aims that become more abstract.So that successful person, has good career, good friend, good brother, good sister, etc nested inside and then each of those has other aims nested until you get down to particular actions. I thought this was a great way to look at your life and allows people to constrain their negative emotion better by making clear distinctions between parts of your life that aren't going well and those that are and being able to analyze things at the most useful resolution levels.
So his concept of "resolutions" for me, has been one of the most valuable tools I've started using.The other part of his model that I found very useful, you also described but quite differently from how I took it in from watching the lecture series. The dual positive and negative aspects of the individual, society and culture, and nature. Thinking of this as the world that we have to navigate and essentially when you encounter chaos, it is because one of those things has manifested what we see as an anomaly because our existing mental model didn't account for that particular phenomenon.
I like the process of analyzing which of those things is the cause of whatever misery you might be experiencing and then reconstructing a new mental model based on the information you got from that phenomenon. The fact that evil can be broken down into those categories, makes it far easier to contend with because it means that problem is somewhat constrained.
As far as your application to game, I agree with everything you've written and I glad that you took the time to share this with all of us. I'm looking forward to your write-up on Nudge, too!

Seeded dos tacos. Also seeded Sangria. Should have tried to bounce her there, but didn’t know when the boyfriend was coming. Timebridged for Monday. Kakaoclosed. After I mentioned sangria she said she had to leave. Her boyfriend was coming.
Maybe I should have seeded sangria first and then tried to bounce.
Probably not that important to change anything here. The main consideration was whether you should have tried more for the bounce first and then done the time-bridge if the bounce didn't go.
In a situation like this though where she didn't know how much time she has, probably a sangria bounce wouldn't have worked well because it's too much of at time commitment. An ice cream or coffee bounce or even just a "walk" would be better.
This is one of those things that is a judgement call in the moment so it's hard to know the best move without more experience and trying different things. Also, Sangria is better as a day 2 or with a girl who has a lot more time. So you could still try for that with this girl later.

There have been several times where you had a hard time understanding what girls said. Did you ever try asking them to speak more slowly? I've done this in Japanese where I tell them that they should talk to me like I'm a 7 year old.

Great boot camp FR, man! It's normal to feel AA. The trick is to 1 now that logically it's sill and two, find ways to trick yourself to overcome it. Find the easiest environment for you to run your game in and then up the difficulty level as that becomes normal for you.
You should also start an approach log like the ANIMAL is doing to keep you motivated and on track.

6/4I got a really crappy night sleep. I woke up at 1 and fell asleep at 430 only to get up at 630. Extra time at work. Too tired when I got home. No sets
It happens. Do you have a strategy for when you have trouble sleeping? When I was really stressed, I used to have trouble falling asleep, and it was even worse because back then I didn't have much time to sleep so that would make me worry even more.
Eventually, I found that imagining myself sleeping worked pretty well and the problem pretty much went away.

It seems like you're primarily doing street sets. Why not try adding in at least one cafe set each day? Try that for 7 daysI fully endorse this plan!
I agree that you've definitely improved. By being consistent you an clean systematically clean up more and more of the small things that are having a detrimental effect on your sets. One thing I think that you should take into account is your energy levels. On days, when they are super low, you should go with lower energy opens, like waves, or you can do open and eject with something like short compliments so that you can still win instead of pushing yourself for more than you have the capacity to deliver.

I know this is a problem of mine. She was giving me US attitude. I like korean girls not just because they are hot but because they are cute and fun. It just turns me off.
This was a mistake. I got on thinking the girl was near but I didn't see where she went.
I was tired from working overtime and just wanted to get home.
Any suggestions for this?
I think that when you're tired you should cut yourself some slack. No big deal. As long as you understand what's happening and why you can understand what variable effect your performance.

When girls mention they have a boyfriend on the d1 I usually drop it. Next time I will ask how long they have dated.
Always try, anyway. You don't need to ask about the boyfriend, but that is one option. Other options are to say that since you'll just be friends, it's fine, or to tell her that if things don't work out with him, you should meet.
While it's true that girls mentioning their boyfriends on the day 1 makes them low probability, you're already in the set so try to do as much with it as you can.
